Two-Way Sync

RightPrice maintains a two-way connection with your Shopify store:

Shopify → RightPrice

  • Product changes in Shopify appear in RightPrice within seconds
  • Uses Shopify webhooks for real-time updates
  • Daily full sync ensures nothing is missed

RightPrice → Shopify

  • Price updates you approve are pushed to Shopify
  • Changes appear in your Shopify admin immediately
  • Only modifies the price field - never touches other product data

What Triggers a Sync?

From Shopify

  • Creating a new product
  • Updating product title, price, or details
  • Deleting a product
  • Changing variants

From RightPrice

  • Approving a price change
  • Bulk price updates
  • Pricing rule suggestions you accept

Sync Status

Check sync status in Settings > Sync:

  • Last synced: When we last checked Shopify
  • Products synced: Total products imported
  • Pending changes: Price updates waiting to be pushed

Troubleshooting Sync Issues

Products not appearing

  1. Check the product is active (not draft) in Shopify
  2. Wait a few minutes - webhooks can occasionally delay
  3. Use Force Re-sync in settings

Price changes not updating

  1. Ensure you clicked Sync to Shopify after approving
  2. Check your Shopify permissions are still active
  3. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the app

Manual Sync Options

  • Sync All Products: Re-imports your entire catalog
  • Re-match Products: Runs matching again without re-importing
