Configure alerts to get notified when competitor prices change or action is needed.

Alert Types

RightPrice offers several alert types to keep you informed:

Price Drop Alerts

Get notified when a competitor lowers their price:

  • Below a threshold you set
  • Below your current price
  • By a significant percentage

Price Increase Alerts

Know when competitors raise prices (opportunity to increase margins).

Match Review Alerts

Notifications when:

  • New matches are found
  • Low-confidence matches need review
  • Matches require re-verification

Stock Alerts

Notifications about competitor stock levels:

  • Out of stock at competitor
  • Back in stock alerts

Rule Alerts

When your pricing rules suggest changes:

  • New suggested price changes
  • Margin limit reached
  • Rule conflicts detected

Creating an Alert

  1. Go to Settings > Alerts
  2. Click Create Alert
  3. Configure:
    • Alert type
    • Conditions (e.g., price drops below £X)
    • Products (all, category, or specific)
  4. Choose delivery method
  5. Save and activate

Example Alert Configurations

"Beat Amazon" Alert

  • Type: Price drop
  • Retailer: Amazon
  • Condition: When Amazon price drops below my price
  • Products: All matched products

Margin Opportunity Alert

  • Type: Price increase
  • Condition: When all competitors raise prices by 5%+
  • Products: All matched products

Alert Frequency

Control how often you receive alerts:

  • Immediate: As soon as condition is met
  • Daily digest: Summary once per day
  • Weekly digest: Summary once per week

Delivery Methods

  • Email: Sent to your registered email
  • Dashboard: In-app notification centre
  • Both: Email + dashboard notification
