Connecting Your Shopify Store

Overview

Connecting your Shopify store to RightPrice takes just a few clicks. We use Shopify's secure OAuth system, so you never need to share your password.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Start the Installation

Visit rightprice.app/install or find RightPrice in the Shopify App Store. Click Add app or Start Free Trial.

2. Authorise Access

You'll be redirected to Shopify to approve the connection. RightPrice requests permission to:

• Read products: To import your catalog for matching
• Write products: To sync price updates back to Shopify

Click Install app to continue.

3. Import Your Products

Once connected, RightPrice automatically imports your products. This typically takes:

• Under 100 products: Less than 1 minute
• 100-1,000 products: 1-5 minutes
• 1,000+ products: 5-15 minutes

4. Start Matching

After import, our AI begins matching your products to competitor listings. You can review matches in your dashboard.

Troubleshooting

Installation fails or times out

• Ensure you're logged into Shopify as the store owner or staff with app installation permissions
• Try clearing your browser cache and cookies
• Disable any ad blockers temporarily

Products not importing

• Check that your Shopify products are active (not drafts)
• Ensure you have at least one product in your store
